‘Heterogeneous catalysis’ is my primary research interest with which I have been in association for the past ten years. I completed my Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 2016 and my doctoral thesis is on investigating several strategies to develop visible light active semiconductor photocatalysts for Environmental remediation. After that, with my profound interest in ‘Water splitting’, I joined the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore as a National post-doctoral fellow (NPDF) and developed several novel composite photocatalyst systems for hydrogen fuel generation until I joined NIT Jamshedpur as Assistant Professor in 2018.
My long-term research agenda is to address the worsening global climate change issue by contributing to clean energy research i.e., clean hydrogen fuel production and CO2 reduction into chemical fuels.
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. I received my PhD degree from the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam in 2014. Later, I joined as a postdoc at Universidade de Brasília, Brazil, and IIT, Kharagpur for about 2 years before joining NIT, Jamshedpur. My research focuses on Nanomaterials (Magnetic and Non-magnetic) synthesis which can be effortlessly manipulated by external stimuli. The target applications of the prepared nanomaterials include Water Treatment, Magnetic Hyperthermia, and Energy Storage.

I am a 3rd Year DST-INSPIRE Doctoral Student in the CEEM Laboratory. I received my Master’s degree from the University of Allahabad in 2020. I am currently exploring novel functionalized nanomaterials for the removal of contaminants such as dyes, heavy metal ions through adsorption & photocatalysis.

I completed my Master's in 2020 from Cooperative College, Jamshedpur. I have been interested in renewable energy resources and Nanoscience. I joined the CEEM lab in 2023. I am working on the synthesis and applications of Energy and Environmental materials.

Upon completing my Master's degree from Ranchi University in 2020, I gained experience and insight through a period of time at CSIR-CIMFR, Dhanbad. With a passion for academia, I subsequently enrolled in the PhD program and joined the CEEM lab in 2024. Here, I am utilizing the potential of nanomaterials for electrochemical sensing applications. Apart from academics, my hobbies are art & music.
